Overview
PhotoSweep helps you find photo-library clutter without sending your photos anywhere.
PhotoSweep is designed so its core photo-cleaning workflow works without an account, developer server, analytics service, advertising network, or tracking technology.
Data Collection
PhotoSweep does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking data, photos, videos, feature prints, or photo-library contents automatically.
The developer does not receive photo names, metadata, thumbnails, Vision feature prints, cleanup selections, deletion history, device identifiers, diagnostics, contact lists, precise location, or usage analytics from the core app workflow.
Photo Library Permission
PhotoSweep requests read and write access only after you choose Continue. Access is used to scan the library and to ask Photos to move items you explicitly select to Recently Deleted. Limited Photos access is supported.
You may choose Full Access or Limited Access where the platform provides those choices. If you deny access, the scan cannot run; PhotoSweep provides a link to system Settings and does not repeatedly pressure you to grant permission.
Local processing and cloud boundary
Photo analysis and Vision feature matching run on this device. Photos, thumbnails, and feature prints are not uploaded to the developer or any server. Items stored only in iCloud may be skipped until they are available on the device.
PhotoSweep does not operate its own photo-storage service. Your personal iCloud Photos configuration is managed by Apple and your system settings, not by PhotoSweep.
Optional Feature Ideas
Feature Ideas is optional and user-initiated. When you choose Review Email, PhotoSweep opens a system mail composer addressed to vshia98@gmail.com. Only the idea type, optional summary, and suggestion text you entered are prepared. Nothing is sent until you choose Send. No photos, logs, diagnostics, or device identifiers are attached. If you send the message, your mail provider and the recipient process the message and sender address under their own policies.
Purchases
PhotoSweep is a paid App Store download. The full app is included, with no account, subscription, or in-app purchase. Apple processes the purchase; PhotoSweep does not receive payment details.
Purchase records, receipts, refunds, and payment methods are governed by your Apple Account and Apple's applicable terms.
Retention and deletion
Scan results exist only in the app's active local session. Removing the app removes its local app data. Optional emails you send may remain in the recipient mailbox as needed to review, respond to, or plan the suggestion. You may request deletion using the privacy contact below.
PhotoSweep never deletes automatically. You select items, review a confirmation with a Cancel option, and Photos performs the deletion. Deleted items remain in Recently Deleted according to your system settings.
Children
PhotoSweep is not designed to collect data from anyone, including children, and has no account or social features.
International transfers
The core photo-cleaning workflow does not transfer personal data to the developer. If you voluntarily send an email, it is routed and stored according to your chosen mail provider and the recipient's mail provider, which may process it in other regions.

Material privacy changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
