Capture Date
Choose Camera, one label photo, or manual entry. Confirm the printed label type and every recognized field before saving.
Rotation Log
Use one records a used quantity. Discard closes the remaining batch and records that factual event.
Toolkit and restore
PantryTurn Rotation Toolkit is one non-consumable purchase. Restore it with the same Apple Account.
Backup and reports
JSON backup/restore is included. The toolkit adds PDF rotation reports, CSV rotation tables, custom zones, and multi-batch actions.
Privacy and deletion
Use Settings to delete all local data. Removing the app also removes its local container; files remain where you deliberately saved them.
FAQ
Why was no date recognized?
Try a closer, brighter, straighter photo with one label filling the frame. You can always enter the date manually.
Why is the toolkit price still loading?
Confirm that the device can reach the App Store, wait briefly, then reopen Rotation Toolkit or use Restore Purchases.
Are estimated values verified savings?
No. Money values come only from optional costs you entered and are shown as estimates. PantryTurn reports recorded actions, not guaranteed savings.
Can I recover deleted data?
Only if you created a JSON backup before deletion. PantryTurn has no cloud copy or developer server.
Troubleshooting
- Camera unavailable: enable Camera for PantryTurn in iOS Settings, or choose one photo/manual entry.
- Wrong label type: change Best Before, Use By, Sell By, or Packed On in the confirmation sheet before saving.
- No reminder: check Notifications for PantryTurn and confirm the chosen reminder date is still in the future.
- Restore finds no purchase: verify the same Apple Account was used for the one-time toolkit.
- Import fails: choose an unmodified PantryTurn JSON backup; other JSON formats are rejected.
- PDF or CSV cannot save: choose another destination in the system share sheet and confirm available storage.
