Plain-language summary
DraftCull AI processes user-selected folders locally with Apple NaturalLanguage tokenization and deterministic rules. There is no third-party AI recipient or developer backend, and no selected data is transmitted to the developer or an AI service.
Information collected
The app does not send personal data, files, relative paths, file names, dates, sizes, document content, SHA-256 fingerprints, corrections, project history, reports, diagnostics, analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, or usage history to the developer or any AI service.
Data we do not collect
DraftCull has no account, sign-in, profile, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, developer database, crash-reporting SDK, third-party AI model, or cloud AI provider.
Permissions and user-selected access
Folder access starts only when you use Apple's system Files picker. A security-scoped bookmark remembers that selected folder. DraftCull does not request camera, photo-library, contacts, location, microphone, or tracking permission.
On-device processing
Apple NLTokenizer is used only to split selected file names into local tokens. Deterministic rules then use names, dates, sizes, version markers, SHA-256 fingerprints, and local correction counts. No model inference or network request is used for recommendations.
Purchases and payment handling
DraftCull Pro Lifetime is a non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes payment, entitlement status, and restoration. The app and developer do not receive or store payment-card details.
Data sharing and third parties
Recipient for recommendation processing: none. The app includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting, cloud-AI, or data-broker SDK. A PDF, CSV, or sanitized JSON report leaves only when you explicitly choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet; JSON excludes the folder security bookmark. Apple handles App Store transactions under Apple's policies.
Retention and deletion
Project records, folder bookmarks, and decision-memory counts remain in the app container until you delete them or remove the app. Staged files remain in DraftCull Review inside your selected folder until you restore or remove them yourself; deleting the app does not delete those external files.
Children's privacy
DraftCull AI is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect information from children through the app.
International transfers
Selected files and cleanup records are not transferred by the developer because the app does not send them off the device. Apple may process App Store transaction information, and opening public help pages uses normal web connectivity under those providers' policies.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective and last-updated date.
