Information collected
The app does not send personal information, document content, OCR text, filenames, hashes, page fingerprints, safe-set decisions, identity records, exports, diagnostics, analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, or usage history to the developer.
Data we do not collect
SourceTwin has no account, sign-in, profile, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, developer document database, third-party crash-reporting SDK, or third-party cloud AI provider.
Permissions and user-selected access
Files access begins only after a selection in Apple's system picker. PhotosPicker transfers only images you select and does not grant full-library access. Version 1.0 does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, tracking, or full photo-library permission.
Local and cloud processing
PDF reading, Vision OCR, page fingerprints, SHA-256, grouping, review decisions, and export run on device. On eligible Apple Intelligence devices, an on-device model may phrase counts and confidence facts only; it receives no document content and never changes a decision. A deterministic template is always available. SourceTwin uses no developer or third-party cloud AI.
Purchases and payment handling
SourceTwin Pro Lifetime is a non-consumable in-app purchase with product ID com.vshia.sourcetwin.pro.lifetime. Apple processes payment, storefront pricing, transaction verification, entitlement, refund or revocation effects, and restoration. The app and developer do not receive or store payment-card details.
Data sharing and third parties
The app includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud-AI, data-broker, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. An export leaves SourceTwin only after you choose a destination in the system share flow. Apple handles App Store transactions. vshia.com and Apple's EULA site receive ordinary web requests only when you open those pages.
Retention and deletion
Imported workspace snapshots, analysis evidence, exported results, and local receipts remain in the app container until the app removes them or you remove the app. Known-document memory stores fingerprints and safe-set filenames, not full OCR text, and can be cleared in Settings. Removing SourceTwin removes its app container under iOS behavior. Copies previously shared outside the app remain controlled by the destination you chose. Selected source files are never changed or deleted by SourceTwin.
Children's privacy
SourceTwin AI is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect information from children through the app.
International transfers
The developer does not transfer selected documents or local analysis because SourceTwin does not send them off the device. Apple may process App Store transaction information, and opening public pages uses normal internet routing under those providers' policies.
Source and export safety
SourceTwin reads private imported snapshots and never renames, moves, overwrites, or deletes the selected source. Included export copies are checked with SHA-256 before a verified receipt is shown. This verification is not a backup guarantee or proof of legal authenticity.
Your choices and content
You choose what to import, which review decision to make, whether to clear known-document memory, and whether and where to share an export. Use only documents you are authorized to process.
