Information collected and not collected
The app does not create an account and does not collect personal information, contact data, location, device identifiers, purchase history, usage data, diagnostics, analytics, advertising data, or tracking data. Project data is read only after an explicit folder selection and remains on the device.
Access and permissions
ReopenKit AI uses Apple's Files picker to request security-scoped access to the exact folder you choose. It may save a local bookmark so you can reopen a confirmed package record. You can clear bookmarks and history in Settings. No Photos, Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Location, Health, or tracking permission is requested.
Local processing and optional AI
Regular-file metadata, bounded supported text, file relationships, and SHA-256 hashes are processed on the device. Extracted text is minimized, used transiently, and discarded after analysis. On supported systems, the Foundation Models framework can create optional suggestions on device. There is no cloud or network model fallback.
Paid download and payment handling
ReopenKit AI is intended as a paid App Store download with every feature included. Apple processes the purchase and may handle transaction information under Apple's policies. The app has no subscription, in-app purchase, external checkout, payment-card entry, or payment data storage.
Sharing and third parties
The app includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, social, cloud-storage, third-party AI, or crash-reporting SDK. The developer does not sell or share app data. A package or report leaves the app only when you explicitly select a destination or use Apple's system share sheet.
Retention and deletion
Saved package history, user-confirmed titles, folder bookmarks, settings, and Archive Memory stay locally until you clear them or remove the app. Archive Memory stores normalized structural signals and choices, not extracted file bodies. Exported files remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted there separately.
Children's privacy
ReopenKit AI is a general-purpose productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13. It has no account, social feed, profile, chat, comments, public sharing service, or user-generated-content service.
International data transfers
The developer does not receive app or project data, so the app does not transfer that data to the developer across countries or regions. Apple may process App Store purchase information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if ReopenKit AI's behavior changes. The effective date on this page will be revised, and any material data-handling change will also be reflected in the App Store privacy disclosure before release of the affected version.
