PaperCue AI Privacy Policy

PaperCue AI is designed as a local utility. We do not operate accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or a document-processing backend for this app.

Effective and last updated: July 13, 2026

Information we collect

We do not collect your notices, recognized text, extracted items, contacts, deadlines, usage history, device identifiers, analytics, advertising data, or precise location. The app stores its working records locally on your device.

Permissions

Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a notice. Photos and Files are selected through Apple system pickers. Write-only Calendar access is requested only when you choose to add a confirmed deadline. Denying Calendar access does not prevent local review or export.

Local processing and sharing

Vision, PDFKit, and NaturalLanguage processing runs on your device. PaperCue AI does not send your documents to an AI provider or our servers. Data leaves the app only when you explicitly use the system share sheet or write a confirmed deadline to Calendar.

Purchases

PaperCue AI is a paid App Store download with all features included. Apple processes the purchase. The app contains no StoreKit products, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Third parties and data sharing

The app includes no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, social SDK, or third-party AI service. Apple system services handle App Store purchases and the destinations you choose through Photos, Files, Calendar, and Share Sheet.

Retention and deletion

Local notice records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app. We cannot retrieve or delete them remotely because we do not receive them.

Children

PaperCue AI is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
