Support

Help with folder access, preflight, verification, and exports.

OffloadProof 1.0 supports iPhone and iPad on iOS or iPadOS 18 and later. No login is required.

Getting started

Name a session, select one source and two destination folders, then choose Scan & Preflight.

Folder selection and access

The app uses Apple’s Files picker and stores security-scoped bookmarks only for folders you select.

Preflight warnings

Resolve unavailable folders, insufficient capacity, write failures, nested paths, or duplicate destinations before starting.

Verification and mismatches

Every destination file is read back and compared with the source. Mismatches remain visible until you explicitly choose to replace and verify again.

Reports and exports

A completed session can create PDF, CSV, and SHA-256 files locally, then Apple’s share sheet lets you choose the destination.

History and deletion

Removing a session or clearing history deletes only the local record. Source and destination files are not removed.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I see a same-volume warning?

Copy A and Copy B appear to be on the same reported storage volume. Two folders on one device are not independent physical copies; choose separate storage when independence matters.

Why did a source-changed issue appear?

A source file’s size or modification date changed during verification. Stop writing to the source, reconnect it if needed, then start a new verification session.

Can I pause and resume?

Yes. OffloadProof checkpoints after each verified file. Keep all selected locations available when resuming.

Can deleted history be recovered?

No developer cloud copy exists. Export reports before deleting history if you need to keep the record.
