DuoRecord Support
Help for capture permissions, dual-camera compatibility, local projects, and exports.
Getting started
Open the Capture tab and tap Continue. iOS will show the camera request first and the microphone request second. DuoRecord does not send you to Settings before those system requests.
If access was denied
The Capture tab shows an Open Settings action only after camera or microphone access has been denied. Gallery and Settings remain available without capture permissions.
Photos access
Photos access is optional. It is requested only after you turn on Auto-save to Photos. Recordings remain in the in-app Gallery when auto-save is off.
Camera compatibility
DuoRecord needs simultaneous multi-camera capture. It prefers the rear main and ultra-wide cameras, and can use the rear and front cameras on supported devices that do not have a rear ultra-wide camera.
Does DuoRecord work offline?
Yes. Capture, local project storage, editing, and export do not require an account or an app server. Opening these public help pages requires internet access.
Does DuoRecord include purchases or subscriptions?
No. This version contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, external checkout, or restore-purchase control.
Troubleshooting
If capture cannot start, confirm camera and microphone access in iOS Settings and verify the device supports simultaneous multi-camera capture. If export fails, check available device storage and try sharing the video again.
