DuoRecord Privacy Policy
DuoRecord processes recordings and projects on your device. We do not collect, upload, sell, or track your personal data.
Effective date and last updated
July 14, 2026
Information collected
The app does not collect personal information, identifiers, diagnostics, usage analytics, advertising data, location, contacts, or the contents of your recordings.
Permissions
Camera access is used only to show previews and record video after you start the capture flow. Microphone access is used only to add sound to recordings. Add-only Photos access is optional and is requested only after you enable Auto-save to Photos.
Local processing and storage
Video capture, cropping, thumbnails, filters, cover frames, project metadata, and exports are processed locally. Projects stay in the app's local storage. DuoRecord does not use iCloud sync or a developer-controlled backend.
Sharing and third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting, or cloud-storage SDK. A recording leaves the app only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet or enable Auto-save to Photos. Apple and the selected destination handle those user-initiated transfers under their own policies.
Payments
This version has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, external checkout, or payment-card collection.
Retention and deletion
Projects remain on your device until you delete a project, use Clear All Projects in Settings, or remove the app. We have no server copy to retain or delete.
Children's privacy
DuoRecord is a general video utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect data, it does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's behavior changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
