Support

Help with credits, reminders, checkout records, exports and Pro.

Find accurate steps for the same local-first workflows available in CreditCue 1.0.

Getting started

Tap Add credit, enter or capture the details, review the recognized values, and save. The free tier supports up to three active credits.

Camera and selected photos

Camera access is requested only after you choose Scan. The system photo picker gives CreditCue only the image you select. Barcode and text recognition run on the device.

Local reminders

Expiration reminders are optional. CreditCue explains the benefit before requesting notification permission. If permission is denied, expiration risk remains visible inside the app.

Purchases and restore

CreditCue Pro Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase handled by Apple. Use Restore purchases with the same Apple Account on a supported device.

Exports and local backup

Individual PDF, CSV and JSON export is available in the credit detail screen. Pro batch export and JSON backup use the system share sheet or document picker.

Privacy and App Lock

Records are stored locally. If you enable App Lock, CreditCue asks iOS to authenticate with the device passcode, Touch ID or Face ID when available.

Does CreditCue connect to a bank or merchant?

No. CreditCue does not check balances, redeem credits, make payments, connect accounts or contact merchants. You enter and confirm the ledger values.

Does the core workflow work offline?

Creating, editing, sorting, recording purchases and exporting records do not require a CreditCue account or app server. Public help links and App Store purchase services require internet access when used.

Can I rely on a saved barcode at checkout?

Verify that the saved code matches the original credit before presenting it. CreditCue does not validate, redeem or guarantee merchant acceptance of a saved code.

How do I delete local data?

Open a credit, choose Edit, and use Delete credit. Removing the app also removes its local database. Export a copy first if you need to retain the ledger.

Troubleshooting

If scanning is unavailable, enter details manually or select a photo. If notifications are off, open iOS Settings from CreditCue and review permission. If export fails, confirm the device has free storage and try the export again.
