Information collected
CreditCue stores names you assign to credits, balances, expiration dates, optional notes, optional codes and ledger events locally on the device. This content is not collected by the developer.
Data we do not collect
The developer does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, payment-card data, financial-account data, device identifiers, diagnostics, analytics, advertising data, location, contacts, health data, photos, credit records or exported files.
Permissions and device access
Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a barcode or printed details. The system photo picker provides only a photo you select. Notification permission enables optional local expiration reminders. Device authentication is used only after you enable App Lock. File and share pickers open only when you export, back up or restore.
Local and cloud processing
Barcode recognition, Vision text recognition, sorting, balance arithmetic, reminders, PDF creation and JSON backup run locally. CreditCue has no developer backend, cloud database, cloud AI provider or cloud sync.
Purchases and payment handling
Apple processes the optional CreditCue Pro Lifetime purchase and restoration through the App Store. CreditCue receives entitlement status but does not receive payment-card details. There is no subscription or external payment flow.
Data sharing and third parties
CreditCue contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting, social, login or third-party data-collection SDK. A file leaves the app only when you select a destination in Apple's system share sheet or document picker. Apple processes App Store purchases under its own terms.
Retention and deletion
Credit records remain on the device until you delete them or remove the app. A user-controlled backup remains wherever you choose to save it. CreditCue cannot delete copies you exported to another app or location.
Children's privacy
CreditCue is a general utility and is not directed to children. Because the developer does not collect app data, CreditCue does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
International transfers
CreditCue does not transfer credit records to the developer or an external service. Apple services and destinations you explicitly choose may process their own data under their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when CreditCue changes. The effective date on this page identifies the latest version.
