Cookfolio AI processes recipe documents you select on your device. The app does not collect, upload, sell or track personal data.
Data we do not collect
The app does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, payment information, device identifiers, analytics, advertising data, location, contacts, health data or imported recipe contents.
Permissions and system pickers
PDFs are chosen with Apple's document picker and images with the system photo picker. The app does not request broad photo-library access. Only items you select are read for local recognition.
Local and AI processing
Apple Vision OCR and deterministic rules run on device. When supported and enabled, Apple Intelligence may improve title, section and tag organization through Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Critical quantities, times, temperatures, storage and safety text are never generated by the AI path.
Purchases and payments
Cookfolio AI is sold as a paid App Store download. Apple processes the purchase. The app has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or external payment flow and does not receive payment-card data.
Data sharing and third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, crash-reporting service or cloud storage. Exported files leave the device only when you choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet.
Retention and deletion
Recipes and attached evidence remain on the device until you delete them, use Delete all local data in Settings, or remove the app. Imported source documents are not uploaded to a developer-controlled service.
Children's privacy
Cookfolio AI is a general utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect data, it does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
International transfers
Cookfolio AI does not transfer user data internationally because recipe content and saved recipe data do not leave the device through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date on this page identifies the latest version.
