Help with calibration, measurements, purchase checks and exports.
Create a local profile, choose Ring, Foot, Wrist or Head, record the measurement, then save it. Profiles are local labels and do not create accounts.
Getting started
Create a local profile, choose Ring, Foot, Wrist or Head, record the measurement, then save it. Profiles are local labels and do not create accounts.
Display calibration
Place the 53.98 mm short edge of an ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 bank or identity card over the guide and adjust until both edges align. The app does not open a camera or scan the card.
Ring measurement
Use a round ring with a clear inner edge. After calibration, adjust the circle until it matches the true inner edge. Repeat the alignment and use the millimeter diameter when checking a merchant chart.
Foot, wrist and head measurements
Use your own ruler or flexible tape without compressing the material. Foot records accept length and optional width; wrist and head records use circumference.
Purchase checks
Choose a saved measurement, enter the merchant's stated dimension, and set the minimum and maximum allowance you accept. The saved result records the arithmetic comparison, not a promise of fit.
Exports
Choose PDF, PNG or CSV. The file is created locally and leaves the device only when you choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet.
Troubleshooting
If the on-screen ring appears inaccurate, recalibrate with the physical card held flat against the screen and confirm Display Zoom or accessibility magnification is not changing the visual comparison. If an export cannot be created, confirm the profile has at least one saved measurement and that the device has free storage, then try again.
Measurement limits
SizeStamp compares dimensions; it cannot account for material stretch, shape, manufacturing tolerance, temperature, swelling or personal comfort, and it never guarantees fit. Regional labels are reference estimates. Check the merchant's current chart before ordering.
Does SizeStamp work offline?
All measurement, comparison, profile and export features work without an account or app server. Public help links require internet access only after you tap them.
Does SizeStamp guarantee fit?
No. Fit depends on factors beyond a stored dimension. SizeStamp clearly labels estimates and asks you to verify the merchant's current chart.
What permissions does SizeStamp request?
None. Calibration is visual and manual. The app does not use the camera, photo library, contacts, location, health data, microphone or Bluetooth.
Method references
The on-screen ring workflow uses millimeter diameter and circumference relationships described by ISO 8653. The GIA ring-size chart is a practical cross-check for common US and UK labels. Merchant charts remain authoritative for a purchase.
