Your receipts and calculations stay on this device.
Privacy boundary
The developer does not collect data from SettleDocket. The app has no account, backend, analytics, tracking, advertising, cloud OCR, or third-party data collection SDK.
Add receipt
When you choose Camera, Photos, or Files, SettleDocket copies the selected receipt image or PDF into protected local app storage and runs Apple Vision text recognition on the device. Camera access is requested only after you choose Camera. Apple's system photo and file pickers let you choose a source without granting broad library access.
Could not save locally
Bill-split titles, participant names you enter, receipt source copies, recognized text, allocations, adjustments, balances, and calculation records remain in the app's local container. Deleting a receipt removes its copied source and allocations. Deleting a bill split removes its copied sources.
Export
Files leave SettleDocket only when you choose a destination in Apple's share sheet. Exports saved outside SettleDocket are controlled by the destination you choose and must be deleted there separately.

SettleDocket is a paid download with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. It is an organizational and arithmetic tool. It does not move money or provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Verify source receipts and totals before relying on an export.
