Frequently asked questions
How do fixed, flexible, and break segments differ?
Fixed-start segments preserve their planned time anchor. Flexible segments move with the live schedule and show where time can be recovered. Break segments are timed pauses in the sequence.
What does schedule drift mean?
Drift is the difference between the planned timeline and the actual live timeline. A positive value means the run is behind plan; a negative value means it is ahead.
How are history suggestions calculated?
After at least three completed instances of a named segment, Pro uses the median actual duration stored on your device. RunSlate never uploads timing history.
How do I restore RunSlate Pro?
Open Settings or the Pro screen, tap Restore purchases, and use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Apple controls purchase availability and verification.
Where are exported files saved?
RunSlate creates the selected format locally and opens the iOS share sheet. The destination you choose controls the resulting copy.
Does deleting a run sheet delete its history?
Yes. Deleting a run sheet removes its attached local sessions from the app. Previously exported files remain wherever you saved them.
Troubleshooting
The lifetime product is unavailable
Confirm the device is online, the App Store is available, and your Apple Account can make purchases. Close and reopen RunSlate after the App Store finishes loading the product.
A purchase is not restored
Verify you are using the original Apple Account, then tap Restore purchases again. Family Sharing availability depends on the App Store product configuration and account eligibility.
Live Activity does not appear
Live Activities may be unavailable or disabled by the system. Keep RunSlate open to follow the full stage rail; the core live run continues without the system surface.
An export destination is missing
Check that the destination app supports PDF, CSV, ICS, or JSON files. Try Save to Files to confirm the export itself is valid.
Timing or cost looks wrong
Open the run sheet, review segment durations and timing type, and confirm the optional hourly labor cost. Exported totals use the saved planned and actual values.
