Plain-language summary
RecallProof AI is a local-first iPhone and iPad app. It does not require an account and does not send imported source content, generated cards, review history, or exports to our servers.
Information collected
We do not collect personal information, source documents, extracted text, images, card content, study history, identifiers, diagnostics, analytics, advertising data, or tracking data through the app. The app contains no backend, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, social SDK, or third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Files, images, and permissions
The Files and Photos system pickers provide the app only with the item you explicitly choose. RecallProof AI does not request broad photo-library access, camera access, microphone access, contacts, location, health data, notifications, or tracking permission. Selected content is used only to perform the import you requested.
Local processing
PDF text extraction, Vision text recognition, supported Apple Foundation Models processing, deterministic fallback card generation, evidence validation, spaced-review scheduling, local storage, and export creation run on the device. No cloud AI provider receives your content.
Purchases
RecallProof AI is a paid App Store download. Apple processes the purchase and may handle purchase records under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. The app has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, credits, payment forms, external purchase links, or restore-purchase control.
Sharing and third parties
The app does not sell, rent, disclose, or transmit app content to third parties. When you export a PDF or CSV, the file is shared only with the destination you choose in the iOS share sheet. Apple system services and destinations you select operate under their own terms.
Retention and deletion
Source text, cards, and review history remain in the app container on your device until you delete the deck or remove the app. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them. Because we do not receive app content, we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
Children’s privacy
RecallProof AI is a general study and productivity tool and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect information from children or any other user.
International transfers
The app does not transmit your source content or study data to our servers, so we do not perform international transfers of that content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app’s behavior changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material privacy changes will be reflected in the app and App Store disclosures before release.
