Data we do not collect
The app does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, payment information, device identifiers, analytics, advertising data, location, contacts, health data, body measurements or imported pattern contents.
Permissions and system pickers
Camera access is requested only after you choose Capture with camera and is used to photograph a pattern page for local recognition. PDFs and images can also be selected through Apple's document and photo pickers without broad photo-library access.
Local and AI processing
Apple Vision OCR and deterministic rules run on device. When supported and enabled, Apple's on-device Foundation Models may improve title, company, pattern number, garment type and size-label organization. Missing measurements, quantities and instructions are never generated by the AI path.
Purchases and payments
PatternPilot AI is sold as a paid App Store download. Apple processes the purchase. The app has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or external payment flow and does not receive payment-card data.
Data sharing and third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, crash-reporting service or cloud storage. Exported files leave the device only when you choose a destination in Apple's system share sheet.
Retention and deletion
Projects and attached source evidence remain on the device until you delete the project or remove the app. Imported sources are not uploaded to a developer-controlled service.
Children's privacy
PatternPilot AI is a general sewing utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect data, it does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
International transfers
PatternPilot AI does not transfer user data internationally because pattern content and saved project data do not leave the device through app-controlled processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date on this page identifies the latest version.
