Data we do not collect
ChangeProof does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, payment-card data, device identifiers, analytics, advertising data, location, contacts, health data, or the contents of imported PDFs and exports.
Permissions and system pickers
PDFs are chosen with Apple's Files picker. The app does not request camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, location, health, notification, Bluetooth, local network, or tracking permission.
Local processing
Page alignment, PDFKit extraction, on-device Vision OCR, rendered comparison, source hashing, bounded analysis cache, revision lineage, review status, and export run in the app container. No external AI model or developer-controlled server receives document content.
Purchases and payments
ChangeProof is sold as a paid App Store download. Apple processes the purchase. The app contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, paywall, or external checkout and does not receive payment-card information.
Data sharing and third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, cloud storage, crash-reporting, or third-party AI SDK. An exported file leaves the app only when you explicitly choose a destination in Apple's share sheet.
Retention and deletion
Imported revisions, comparison snapshots, and review status remain in the app container until you delete the project, use Delete All Local Data, or remove the app. Reusable analysis cache is bounded and removed with local data. Temporary exports may remain until iOS clears temporary storage.
Children's privacy
ChangeProof is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect data, it does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
International transfers
ChangeProof does not transfer document or usage data internationally because it does not collect or upload that data. A file may go to a service only when you choose that destination in Apple's share sheet.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features or privacy practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
