Information collected
BillProof AI does not collect personal data, account data, analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, diagnostics, or usage history. Bills and recognized text are stored only in the app container on the device.
Camera and files
Camera access is requested only when you choose Scan a Bill. Files are accessed only through the system picker when you select a document. The app does not request broad photo-library access.
Local and cloud processing
OCR, field extraction, comparisons, audits, PDF/CSV/JSON creation, and ZIP packaging run on the device. The app has no backend and sends no bill content to an AI provider or other server.
Purchases
BillProof AI is a paid download. Apple processes the App Store purchase. The app does not receive or store payment card details and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Sharing and third parties
No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, cloud-AI, or data-broker SDK is included. Data leaves the app only when you explicitly use the system share sheet or export a file.
Retention and deletion
Bills remain on the device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. Deleting a bill removes its stored source document. Exported files are controlled by the destination you select.
Children
BillProof AI is a general utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
International transfers
Bill data is not transferred by the developer because it is not sent off the device. Apple may process App Store transaction information under Apple’s own policies.
Changes
Material policy changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
