BoxNest is designed for local-first inventory management. It does not require an account and does not track you.

Data collection
BoxNest does not collect personal data, does not track you, and does not send inventory or photos to a BoxNest server.
Local data
Boxes, items, notes, tags, photos, and purchase entitlement state are stored locally on the device. Removing the app may remove this local data unless you exported a backup.
Camera and photos
Camera access is requested only after you start QR scanning. Photo selection uses Apple's system picker, which gives BoxNest only the photos you choose. Text recognition runs on the device.
Purchases and exports
Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. BoxNest creates backup, PDF, and CSV files only when you request them and sends them only to destinations you choose in the system share sheet.
